Argentum Enters Into Definitive Option Agreement To Acquire Interest In Butt Township Property
TORONTO, ON -- July 4, 2017 -- Argentum Silver Corp. (the "Company") (TSXV: ASL) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an option agreement (the "Option Agreement") with Griftco Corporation (the "Optionor") pursuant to which the Company has been granted the right to earn a 100% interest in 10 unpatented mining claims located in Butt Township, Ontario (the "Property").

Pursuant to the terms of the Option Agreement, the Company can earn a 100% interest in the Property in exchange for:
  • the payment of $5,000 and the issuance of 100,000 common shares (“Common Shares”) of the Company to Griftco on the date the TSX Venture Exchange (“TSXV”) grants approval of the transaction (“Effective Date”);
  • the payment of $25,000 and the issuance of 250,000 Common Shares to the Optionor and the Company incurring $200,000 in expenditures on the Property on or before the first anniversary of the Effective Date;
  • the payment of $25,000 and the issuance of 250,000 Common Shares to the Optionor and the Company incurring $200,000 in expenditures on the Property on or before the second anniversary of the Effective Date; and
  • the payment of $25,000 and the issuance of 250,000 Common Shares to the Optionor and the Company incurring $500,000 in expenditures on the Property on or before the third anniversary of the Effective Date.

The transaction remains subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and the Common Shares issuable thereunder will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance.
